About

About Me

My journey to becoming a mental health therapist has been one of growth, learning, and a deepening passion for helping others. From early on, I was drawn to understanding people—their stories, struggles, and resilience—and that curiosity naturally led me to the world of mental health.

Each step of my path, from classroom studies to hands-on experience, reinforced my belief in creating safe, supportive spaces where individuals can heal, grow, and thrive. Becoming a therapist has been a professional and personal calling, and I’m honored to share this work with every person who walks through my door.

Specializing in Trauma, Depression and Anxiety Treatment

Trauma

Trauma is an intense emotional and psychological response to a distressing event or series of events that overwhelm your ability to cope. It can leave lasting imprints on your mind and body, often manifesting as heightened fear, emotional numbness, or intrusive memories. While trauma shapes how you perceive and respond to the world, healing is possible with time, support, and the right tools.

Depression

Depression can feel like an invisible weight pressing down on you, making even the simplest tasks feel insurmountable. It often brings a sense of emptiness or numbness, as though the world has lost its color and joy. Despite being surrounded by others, it can feel isolating, as if no one truly understands the heaviness you carry.

Anxiety

Anxiety can feel like a relentless storm inside your mind, with racing thoughts that seem impossible to quiet. Physically, it might manifest as a tight chest, a racing heartbeat, or a constant sense of restlessness, like your body is bracing for something that never comes. It’s a weight that can make even simple tasks feel overwhelming, leaving you yearning for calm amidst the chaos.

Relationships

Relationships can be incredibly rewarding but also deeply challenging, as they often require navigating differing needs, values, and communication styles. Misunderstandings or unresolved conflicts can create emotional distance, leaving both individuals feeling unseen or unsupported. Despite the difficulties, relationships can grow stronger when approached with patience, vulnerability, and a willingness to work through tough moments together.

Grief & Loss

Grief and loss can feel like an emotional earthquake, shaking the foundation of your world and leaving a void that words can’t fully capture. It may come in waves—sometimes as deep sorrow, other times as anger, confusion, or even numbness. Though it’s a deeply personal journey, healing often involves honoring your feelings, cherishing the memories, and gradually finding ways to move forward while carrying the love you’ve lost.

Mental Wellbeing

Maintaining mental health and well-being is essential for living a balanced and fulfilling life, as it impacts how you think, feel, and connect with others. Prioritizing your mental health can help you build resilience, cope with stress, and navigate life’s challenges more effectively. By cultivating habits like self-care, mindfulness, and seeking support when needed, you create a foundation for personal growth, healthy relationships, and overall happiness.
